Thailand Association of the Blind will host the seminar on “the Establishment of the Service Centre for Persons with Disabilities, A mechanism to make the rights real”, the 17th TAB national convention and the 2nd ASEAN Community Blind Forum (ACBF) during April 19-23, 2014 at Napalai hotel, Udon Thani Province.
The main purpose of this annual convention is to provide opportunities for blind people and stakeholders throughout Thailand to participate in forums to exchange and discuss ways to improve the quality of life of persons with visual impairment. In addition, The 2nd ASEAN Community Blind Forum (ACBF), in which delegates from 10 ASEAN countries are invited, will also be held. The forum will act as a platform for delegates to collaboratively set the guidelines to improve the quality of life of persons with visual impairment in the region in time for the introduction of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
