Blind Citizens Australia speaks out on violence against women

The Women’s Branch of Blind Citizens Australia (BCA) has raised awareness about violence against blind and vision impaired women and children. The UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women recently visited Australia. BCA wrote to the Rapporteur and the Women’s Branch of BCA was invited to attend a roundtable meeting of civil society or non-government organisations with the UN Special Rapporteur held on 24 February. Our thanks to BCA for sharing what they wrote with us.
