Major Changes to the Website

We have made major changes to the WBUAP website. The main purpose of this website is to provide a variety of news and information relating to the work of the World Blind Union in our region. The content is still much the same, but we think the website is now a lot easier to use.
We started by removing various things that were really cluttering up the web pages but which we felt were not very useful on this website. We know that for people using screen readers it can be really frustrating to have to step around lots of unnecessary clutter.
We have also reorganised the content into various categories so it is now easier to find things depending on what you are interested in.
There is now a page focusing on information of interest to women in our region.
The search field now works properly so this is another way you might find something you are looking for.
Accessibility is a high priority for us, and we have tried to make it work properly on a wide range of computers and devices and with today’s most popular screen readers. You can read more about this website and how to get the most out of it.
Please take a look and tell us what you think. Just use the link to email the website administrator which you will find at the foot of each page.
Also use this link if you have a news item or information you think blind people would be interested in and which you would like us to publish.
