The Marrakesh Treaty

The Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons who are Blind, Visually Impaired, or otherwise Print Disabled was developed through the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). It was adopted in June 2013. With strong leadership from the World Blind Union and its member-countries, the treaty aims to improve movement of braille and audio books between countries.
